Staying -- in town
Our venue is less than 6 miles from "downtown" Wrightwood, so if you don't want to camp with us, you can easily stay in town.
Hotels
Cedar Lodge (760) 249-5062 gets a good recommendation on the local forum, it's a short walk to our favorite restaurant in-town (Grizzly Cafe).
Canyon Creek Inn (760) 249-4800 is also good, right on the edge of downtown Wrightwood (all three streets). Mexico Lindo is a short walk, we eat there when we don't visit the Grizzly. You can visit them at http://canyoncreekinn.com/
Grand Pines Lodge is probably going to be really great, but they've changed ownership in the last few months. I'll write more when I find out.
Mountain View Cabins(760) 249-5578 gets mixed reviews, probably from people who expected a 5-star experience, and this town is just not a Hilton kind of town.
Bed and Breakfast
The Rhinestone Rose is a B&B that gets good Yelp reviews. (760) 912-3838.
Vacation Rentals
This town is full of vacation rentals.
Sites like VRBO or AirBNB are probably your best bet. Places can go as low as $40 to hundreds per night.
Caution
Many sites will show you hotels in Hesperia or Cajon Pass as "close" -- just be aware that they aren't.
